This building comprises a single-level block with a grand projection along its front, having all common-use spaces, with a service block and an apartment for the Superintendent at its rear.

Four separate three-level blocks form one large and one smaller courtyard. These blocks contain 40 rooms per floor, some double rooms and some two-room suites, altogether accommodating 150 female students.

The building reflects a sensitivity to climate with overhangs, screens, deep-set windows

and hanging louvers which provide shade and privacy.
