UBL Bank

Building

Originally built in the 1960’s, this G+2 floor building had been refurbished internally

during the period 2000-2005. FNMH was brought on to completely transform the exterior without disturbing the working areas inside the building.

The new façade consists of a screen combining modular aluminium and glass panels

mounted on brackets, away from the outer walls, retaining all existing windows, etc. It

allows breeze to pass through, providing shade and acting as a buffer against heat.

Promotional signage and external lighting were conceived as an integral component of

the facade.
